Just give a print command from either system, and everything works flawlessly. However with one PC on win7 and the other running on vista, only the vista work. Best deal I could find on the net!

The 2-Port USB 2. Switches computers automatically for each print job without delay. But wife needs to print and isn't the most computer savvy. At times, I can just ahto print and it will go but a good amount of the time, I have to manually switch the printer software. With the Iogear 2-port automatic switch, I could set up a printer cable just for her own use. It was glitchy intermittent malfunctions hooked to my Canon MP multi-function printer MFP and Tech Support at Iogear, although courteous, couldn't solve the problem.

The product works as advertised and automatically switches to accommodate printing requests. Software installation was easy.

When I connect it to two vista PC, it work great. You can even use it to share other USB devices when siwtch manual switching.

Most excellent and simplicity itself to install and it works as expected first time! Nonetheless, still a better option than most and I still recommend this product. Unfortunately, the switch isn't all that automatic. Simply send the sharimg job and the switch automatically makes the swap for you. With the Iogear switch in place, my need for the printer at one or the other of the two PC's is a transparent operation.
